10 Chambers takes gamers behind the scenes of Den of Wolves in new documentary series

Swedish developer 10 Chambers, known for the acclaimed Payday series and GTFO, is giving players an unfiltered look at the journey to create its ambitious upcoming co-op heist game, Den of Wolves. Launching soon, the docu-reality series Do The Game is a candid inside story of game development that reveals the struggles, triumphs, and realities behind bringing a massive cyberpunk project to life.

Do The Game captures the 10 Chambers team at critical points throughout their development. Instead of a slow, conventional industry documentary, series creator and studio co-founder Oscar J-T Holm describes it as “brutally honest,” spotlighting the human struggles and victories embedded in the making of AAA games.

From early conceptualizing to ambitious live events, like the spectacular 1,000-drone display following The Game Awards 2024, the series highlights moments of groundbreaking creativity as well as considerable setbacks. Holm said, “Growing a company while building a game can be incredibly stressful and create tension even between longtime friends.”

When setting out to capture the inside look of their journey, 10 Chambers made the conscious decision not to hold back on anything—to let the cameras roll, even when it was uncomfortable.

For studio founder and creative director Ulf Andersson, Den of Wolves has been a passion project of over a decade in the making.

“I hate making this documentary,” he said.
