Mark your calendars for a race to (multiple) deaths on 12 September.
Inspired by The Running Man, Sumo Digital’s DeathSprint 66 is a fast-paced multiplayer “bipedal racing game” set in the year 2066.
Up to eight contestants—known as Clone Jockeys—can compete against each other in PvP on-foot races across extreme obstacle courses filled with deadly traps and obstacles.
The stakes are high, either you win or die. Players will run, jump, drift and slide their way to glory.
Death, incidentally, is frequent, swift and gory, so don’t get too attached to the clones as the chances are they’ll be going home in pieces.
Playtest imminent
Keen players can jump into the two dedicated Steam playtests taking place in the immediate future:
- Playtest #1: Thursday 8th August, from 6pm BST/1pm EST/10am PT, until 1pm BST/5pm EST/2pm PT
