As Fatshark prepares to launch Warhammer 40,000: Darktide on Nov. 30, it would not be possible without the fervent support of the community that has put in blood, sweat, and tears fighting against the forces of evil. As the third installment of Fatshark’s take on the Warhammer universe, celebrations are in order.
Throughout November and leading up to the release of Darktide, there will be activities and updates from Fatshark for all “Tide” players. Here’s what is in line for one of the best gaming communities this side of the universe:
As a start, Warhammer: Vermintide 2 will be free to keep starting from Nov. 3 to 7, so be sure to claim a copy before this generous offer is over. In addition, there will be a new content update coming to Vermintide 2 in the form of Trail of Treachery, the first of a two-parter that will launch on Nov. 8.
In Trail of Treachery, it is up to brave heroes to escort a caravan carrying precious cargo to a village plagued by strange and unusual happenings. Pave the way to Tockstadt and investigate what misfortune has befallen the settlement, and beware of avalanches.A new, snowy adventure begins – Make your way down the precarious mountain path to save the village of Tockstadt, where nothing is quite as it seems.
A free update for Warhammer: Vermintide 2 – A Treacherous Adventure is a free update to all players for Vermintide 2.
- The first map in a two-part adventure – Trail of Treachery is the first of a two-part adventure map pack. The second act will be available in 2023.
Furthermore, a pre-order beta for Warhammer 40,000: Darktide will take place from Nov. 17 to 29, allowing players to familiarize themselves with the challenge ahead. Any players coming to Darktide, having played either Vermintide or Vermintide 2, will also be rewarded with the Devoted Rejects Pack, a unique cosmetic pack that contains five facial customization cosmetics and five tattoos, all inspired by Vermintide’s heroes.
