Celebrating women behind-the-scenes at Level Infinite

Getting a big game from idea to launch often involves an ecosystem of roles that encompass everything from PR to publishing, translation to market research, and community building to leadership.

At Level Infinite, we are proud to have talented women excelling in all these roles and more, contributing to the success of our games and the vibrancy of our workplace.

For International Women’s Day 2025, we’re pulling back the curtain to celebrate six dynamic women leaders from our organization. Through a series of video interviews, they shared their journeys, their love for gaming, and how they’re shaping the industry in unique ways.

Chloe Chen, Marketing Director

Shenzhen, China

“I’ve been playing various games since I was a kid, from Need for Speed to Left 4 Dead,” says Chloe. Her background as a lifelong gamer helps her connect with players and ensure Level Infinite’s games resonate authentically.

Chloe champions breaking down misconceptions about women in gaming, saying, “This industry has very few gender restrictions. As long as you truly love it, you have a chance to shine here.”

Ioli Pretenteri, Senior Market & User Research Lead

London, U.K.

“What’s more fun than talking about games every day?” Ioli laughs. Her role involves understanding what gamers really want, from player insights to global trends.

She reveals how The Sims sparked her love for gaming as a child and how her curiosity and openness to different cultures have helped her succeed in her role.

Julie Ghez, Publishing Director

Montreal, Canada

Julie’s journey from law school to global publishing highlights the multifaceted nature of careers in gaming.

“Gaming is about art, culture, storytelling, and social connection,” she says. Julie believes adaptability is her secret weapon and that breaking biases in male-dominated industries inspires her every day.

Jie Jiang, Senior Publishing Support Director

Shenzhen, China

Jie Jiang’s journey into gaming wasn’t straightforward—she almost became a banker. However, the fast expansion of the gaming industry during what she describes as its “golden age” drew her in, and she hasn’t looked back since.

Jie now leads publishing support at Level Infinite, focusing on empowering partner studios with cutting-edge tools and functions, from creative design to localization and market research.

Nikki Huang, Lead Translator

Shenzhen, China

For Nikki, gaming is an art and a science. “As a translator, I need to understand different genres and gameplay details,” she explains.

Always curious and deeply knowledgeable, Nikki is an avid gamer herself, and her journey showcases the pivotal role of language in creating immersive gaming experiences.

Sarasa Saiki, Senior PR Manager

Tokyo, Japan

With a multicultural background and a passion for storytelling, Sarasa thrives at the intersection of gaming and public relations.

She enjoys the vibrant energy of gaming events and emphasizes the importance of bridging cultures within a global company like Level Infinite.
