Through two special events running this April, players can contribute to real-world forest conservation efforts while earning exclusive in-game rewards.
TiMi Studio Group and Level Infinite have launched their campaign to unite the global Honor of Kings community in a mission to drive environmental conservation through gaming.
Developed as a part of Green Game Jam 2025 organized by Playing For The Planet—an initiative supported by the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP)—the campaign invites players to transform their virtual achievements into measurable support for critical forest protection projects in the real world.
Making a real-world impact through play
The Protect Nature, Protect All Life event, running until April 22, integrates educational content crafted by forest conservation experts. As the Honor of Kings community completes daily tasks and earns Forest Breath tokens, they’ll unlock chapters exploring four unique forest ecosystems and learn about 18 plant and animal species, including endangered wildlife.
As players progress, their collective efforts fill a global progress bar. Upon reaching 100% completion, Honor of Kings will purchase and retire high-integrity* carbon credits to support four conservation initiatives. These four projects are:
- Katingan Peatland Restoration and Conservation Project (Indonesia)
- Kuamut Rainforest Conservation Project (Malaysia)
- Rimba Raya Biodiversity Reserve Project (Indonesia)
- Brazilian Amazon APD Grouped Project (Brazil)
* The selection is based on the ratings from Sylvera, a global independent carbon credit rating agency, to ensure the quality and impact of the projects.
Earn exclusive rewards while supporting conservation
From April 10 – May 4, players can participate in “Match for Green,” a new stack-and-match minigame event. Complete missions, share with friends, and log in daily to earn the exclusive Legendary Skin Sakeer – Verdant Serenity. This new skin features nature-inspired animations, skills, and voice lines that celebrate humanity’s connection with the environment.
A collaborative effort for environmental change
These initiatives are made possible through Play for Good, Tencent Games’ platform that transforms virtual achievements into real-world positive impact.
The campaign is part of Green Game Jam 2025, organized by Playing For The Planet Alliance with support from the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP).
