Honor of Kings, the popular mobile MOBA has unveiled its latest event, “The Amber Era,” which introduces players to a futuristic sci-fi theme.
The event begins today and offers players a chance to obtain two exclusive skins.
The centerpiece of the Amber Era is the “Save the Earth” mission. Players are tasked with investigating and averting a catastrophic meteorite collision with Earth.

More side quest fun across September
In addition to the main event, Honor of Kings is rolling out several limited-time activities this month:
- Full Moon Signal (September 17-22): Players can investigate a mysterious Jade Rabbit-shaped shadow on the moon’s surface, earning tokens for rewards.
- Energy Storm (September 13-24): Completing this mission allows players to choose one of five epic skins, including Golden Ratio Kongming and Playground Sentry Kui.
- Sci-fi-style skins: Kaizer and Garo‘s Amber Era skins will be available at discounted rates. Additionally, three heroes are receiving sci-fi makeovers: Arli: Memory Chip (available September 13), Sun Bin: Sirius Wonderboy, and Shangguan: Sirius Artist (both available September 20).
- Arrival of the Monkey King: (September 5-18): Complete associated missions to obtain Wukong and the skin Gilded King Wukong.
Players are encouraged to log in and participate in these limited-time events to take full advantage of the rewards and new content.
New teleporting tank hero: Liu Bang
Honor of Kings’ newest hero, Liu Bang, is a formidable tank with powerful support abilities. This warrior brings a unique blend of defensive prowess and team-oriented skills to the battlefield.
Main features:
- Tank role: Liu Bang excels at absorbing damage and protecting his allies. Upon landing, he provides a protective shield to those nearby.
- Support abilities: His skills are designed to aid teammates by restoring health to teammates in the vicinity, turning the tide of battle.
- Charge dash attack: Liu Bang is able to charge up a powerful forward attack that metes out high damage to enemies in his path.
- Ultimate skill—teleportation: Liu Bang’s signature move allows him to instantly teleport to a designated teammate anywhere on the map. This allows him to quickly join team fights or save allies in danger.
With the teleport ability, players can create distraction and confuse the enemy team. This allows well-timed players to build power in numbers in team fights and turn around key moments across the map.
