The company continues to expand internationally and will have a local executive responsible for operations
Level Infinite, a gaming brand dedicated to delivering high-quality games to a global audience on every platform, has launched a local presence in Brazil to provide a better service and gaming experience for their regional gaming presence in Latin America.
This includes the hiring of Brazilian staff to have a better understanding of the wants and needs of the market, as the company continues to expand to more countries and regions.
“Level Infinite – as the international business brand of Tencent Games – is on a mission to deliver high-quality games to global gamers. Building on our record of success with several titles and IPs, we are very excited to both strengthen our presence in Latin America, and deepen our longstanding ties in Brazil, to bring an even better gaming experience with more localized content to gamers,” said Vincent Wang, General Manager of Global Publishing and Global Esports at Tencent Games.
The gaming market in Brazil has soared from 66 million gamers in 2017 to over 88 million in 2021, according to Newzoo, with active eSports leagues and tournaments in the country that help games to reach more people.
This move into Brazil will consolidate Level Infinite/Tencent Games’ operations in Latin America, adding it to its current operation in Mexico which has been successful.
“Mexico will be our center for the Spanish-speaking market in Latin America, where we want to listen to the players and get closer to the gamer community. That community is important to us and is growing strongly. Many of the team working locally were born in this region, ensuring we understand the needs of our players and to bring them the best localized experiences” said Andro Miralrio, Mexico Country Manager at Tencent Games.
