Players across the globe can now pre-register for futuristic cooperative and free to play shooter, SYNCED ahead of its full release on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S later this summer.
Level Infinite and NExT Studios are rolling out a pre-registration program that will reward player participation for hitting certain milestones throughout this period. Players can expect cosmetic rewards such as character avatars, emotes, as well as weapon, Nano, and Runner skins.
SYNCED is set in the near future of our world, where nanotechnology has become the backbone of civilization. In the wake of a cataclysm known as the Collapse, the nanomachines have turned against their creators, consuming humans to propagate themselves and transforming into the deadly Nanos. In this apocalypse, players take on the role of a Runner, brave fortune-seekers who scour the Meridian for the valuable nano-energy substance known as Nerva.
Adding an innovative variation to the co-op shooter genre, SYNCED sees Runners not only team up in squads of three, but syncing with defeated Prime Nanos transforming them into Companion Nanos, an additional resource to strategically deploy during the game’s high-octane PvE and PvP battles.
SYNCED also adds elements from classic looter shooters, with Runners acquiring resources in PvE and PvP matches to build up their character, while also unlocking more powerful weapons and mods that best compliment their play style.
