Ahead of its full launch later this summer, companion-based looter shooter SYNCED from Level Infinite and developer NExT Studios will give players the opportunity to experience its solo mode via a timed demo that is now available on Steam. From now until Apr. 19, players can also experience the latest additions to the game, including the all-new “Nano Leap” ability and exciting weapon mods in solo play.
A free-to-play sci-fi shooter that is set in the near future, SYNCED will see players enter a world where nanotechnology has become the backbone of civilization. In the wake of a cataclysm known as the Collapse, the nanomachines have turned against their creators, consuming humans to propagate themselves and transforming into deadly Nanos.
As Runners in SYNCED, fortune-seekers who hunt down the valuable nano-energy substance known as Nerva, it will be up to players to survive and prosper in both PvE and PvP engagements. They won’t be alone, as Prime Nano classes will be available for players to utilize to augment their skills in combat and exploration.
In solo play, the task is to scrouge up as many resources as possible, reduce the Nano infection, and take down powerful bosses. The SYNCED demo will provide an early taster of the action to come later on in the year.
