Addition of Experienced Veterans Elevates Level Infinite’s Capabilities
Tencent Games continues to reaffirm its world-class support for partner studios with the addition of three new members to its Partnership Team.
Bringing industry expertise and experience, Ivan Davies, Tom O’Connor, and Jon Lawrence will join VP of Partnerships, Tencent Games Global, Pete Smith in Liverpool to drive production efficiencies and maximizing the potential of future titles under the Level Infinite brand across Europe and other parts of the world.
“Bringing Ivan and Tom on board further highlights our commitment to offer our partner studios access to unrivalled production experience and world-class support. And with Jon joining, we will be able to set new standards for our development management support capabilities,” Smith said.
As the Director of Studio Partnerships, Ivan Davies was most recently Production Director at Catalyst Outsourcing, a company he founded in 2008. His history includes stints at Ocean Software, Infogrames, Warthog and PlayStation on the partnership side.
Tom O’Connor joins Davies as a fellow Director of Studio Partnerships, having previously managed a portfolio of AAA titles at PlayStation, including the multi-award-winning LittleBigPlanet franchise. He was also previously at Electronic Arts and Activision.
Jon Lawrence will take on the newly created role of Production Director and will oversee the definition and implementation of production operations across several of Tencent’s second-party studios. He brings over 22 years of experience in the interactive entertainment industry across both internal and external development teams at Electronic Arts, Microsoft, Natural Motion and Scopely.
